A Fun Day at Topgolf with a Toddler
Can you take a Toddler to Topgolf? Absolutely! We just took a family trip to Topgolf and it is actually a very family-friendly venue. We spent the morning at Topgolf with a toddler and a baby. Everyone is entertained!
Toddler Equipment at Topgolf
The great thing about Topgolf is that all equipment is provided, including kids’ clubs! JL loves having his own designated golf bag that he can take his club out of. After he finishes his turn hitting, he takes it back and places it back in his golf bag. All you have to do is ask the table host when you get there for a few kid’s clubs and they will bring them to your table for you.
Lifetime Membership at Topgolf for a Toddler?
Unfortunately, you do have to pay the $5 membership fee for toddlers. However, this is a lifetime membership so your child will always have a Topgolf membership. This is great if you have a location that is regularly accessible to you. What a great gift for your little golf lover!
Kid’s Menu at Topgolf
Great news, Topgolf does have a kids’ menu that includes a drink and a side. While we did not try anything from the kids’ menu while we were there because we went in between meal times, it is great knowing that is an option.
Hardest Part of Topgolf with a Toddler
The hardest part of Topgolf for a toddler is taking turns. JL had so much fun he just wanted to keep hitting! It is a great lesson in sharing and patience though.
For me, the hardest part is seeing him get close to the edge and keeping him behind the red line. Topgolf has an upper and a lower deck. I hoped we would get placed on the lower deck so I would not have to worry about him falling off. Since we went on a weekday morning, it was not very busy so they put everyone upstairs. There is a net that will catch him if he falls but that would be scary for everyone.
Hope you try Topgolf with kids!
